How PastRush teaches

Last updated 13 October 2026

Plain-language summary: PastRush is an educational app with a large free tier and an optional one-time Founder Lifetime purchase. It stores your progress only on your device, writes every fact in its own words and links it to its source, and uses only original art and music. Survival content is general information, not a substitute for training or emergency services.

Zoom, tap, remember

Every map and Zoom Lab world works the same way: zoom in, tap a glowing dot, read one short fact, and keep going. Short facts, a picture you can see, and the reward of finding the next one help ideas stick.

What's inside

Zoomable history maps of every era and people, the Zoom Lab (from the edge of the universe down to a quark, endless number lines like π, and your own body and food), the Vitamin Shelf (all 13 vitamins and key minerals in plain words), daily puzzles, games and classroom lessons.

Who it is for

Curious kids about 6 to 14, their families, homeschoolers and classrooms. Topics are matched to the Ontario Grades 1–8 Science and Technology, Mathematics and Social Studies / History curricula, and line up with what most North American and international elementary programs teach.

How we keep it true

Every claim is written in our own words, linked to a source (NASA, NIH, Health Canada, museums, universities, peer-reviewed research), and labelled with how strong the evidence is. Rounded numbers are marked ≈. Traditional and religious knowledge is credited and labelled, never mixed up with established science or history.

Not medical advice

The body, food and vitamin content is general science education. It is not medical or nutrition advice and is not a medical device. Talk to a doctor, pharmacist or dietitian about your own health.
